Wow, what an incredible house! We've stayed in the desert many times and House of Roy is very special. Location is unbeatable, tons of different spaces to enjoy, very cool decor inside and out, had everything we could think of for a comfortable stay. Meghan was very responsive and helpful. Would come back and stay here in a heartbeat.

Phenomenal place for a vacation! Look no further and book this one before it’s gone. It’s peaceful, beautifully decorated, well supplied, clean, comfortable, scenic, located close to grocery stores, and easily accessible. We’re looking forward to returning soon. Note: it’s next to a busy road although car noises cannot be heard from indoors. For dog owners, there is no fence around the home.

Our stay at House of Funk was incredible! We felt right at home, appreciated how clean the home was, and the pool / hot tub were amazing. The home had everything we needed and was very cozy; so many blankets and places to lounge around outside. We would absolutely come back to stay.

A comfortable stay with lots of space to spread out. Very funky decor. Great lounge to relax on after a big day. Kitchen had everything. Bed was comfortable (which is one of the most important things in a stay!). Host was very responsive. Only ‘constructive’ feedback I would give is to provide a washing machine. Maybe it’s not a thing in American Airbnbs but for travellers who are away for weeks a washing machine is gold. Also, I personally love blackout curtains for the entire room so my bedroom is pitch black. The room was mostly dark so wasn’t a big issue and we were also able to hang a blanket over the window to achieve a complete blackout. Location is excellent for walking and for LGBT travellers.

My stay here was great overall a great space to just relax during the heat hours and nearby the night life . House was clean and had more than enough supplies for my gf and I (we always bring our own) but it was nice to see extra qtips and toiletries in the restroom / bedroom . We loved the kitchen/hidden door awesome feature and the area is great and quiet we slept great each night . Perfect spot for a weekend getaway .

Meghan and Viktor were great hosts. The house was very clean and was furnished ideally for a family holiday. The back yard had great activities (darts, fussball table) for older kids. Hiking, shopping and restaurants are all within a short distance. The beach and Camarillo outlets are only a 30 min drive. The AC worked great, beds were comfortable and there was plenty of seating for hosting a small dinner party. The hot tub was exceptionally clean and a lovely way to unwind after a busy day. The attention to detail in the accomodation was noticeable, which is why I can highly recommend this property for anyone who wants to enjoy activities in the San Fernando Valley and Conejo Valley.
