We had a great stay! The house was exactly as advertised- clean, comfortable, and well set up. The hosts were very responsive and easy to communicate with, which made everything smooth from check-in to check-out. Overall, the whole experience was simple and stress-free. We’d happily stay here again and would recommend it to others.

A wonderful place, felt pretty+ private There was a drone that deliberately circled us while we weee in the hot tub. We made the owners aware. Be aware and cover up or flip the bird accordingly.

We absolutely lucked out finding this place. We stayed for about 3 months for work in LA. We were able to bring our three dogs who loved the yard, walkable neighborhood, and the nearby hiking. The owners were the nicest hosts ever and anytime we had a question or an issue they resolved it immediately. The house is adorable and cozy, great nights sleep, outdoor games, great movie nights. We also enjoyed the restaurants and shopping in downtown Calabasas area that’s a few minute drive away. Can’t wait to book this place on our next trip to Cali. Thanks so much to the hosts ❤️

This is my favorite spot- the decor is so much fun with tons of little surprises yet very functional, private and convenient. Meghan was very responsive and made sure our stay was going well. This spot truly is a surprise gem.

Can’t say enough good things about the House of Roy! Immaculately decorated with really awesome western art. Great location, walkable to Pappy’s and downtown Pioneertown. The Saloon is so unique and amazing, I want one in my own backyard! 10/10 would recommend.

This rental is gorgeous and such a fun place to stay. Every detail was perfect--down to the retro-style embossed labels that made everything easy to find. We also really enjoyed the location. We enjoyed walking the mutt at the nearby Tahquitz Creek Trail and picking up bagels at Townie Bagel, both of which were just around the corner. Meghan and Viktor were super responsive and so considerate. We can't wait to come back!

Stayed here with one other family for a couple of nights. The kids had a great time climbing boulders, soaking in hot tub, and exploring the lot. Adults did lots of bbq and cooking. Meghan was responsive and helpful. We enjoyed our time here.

We really enjoyed our stay at the house of funk. It was cute, comfortable, and charming, in a great location, with friendly and helpful hosts. We were able to walk downtown, to restaurants and shopping, and to some trailheads. We got great recommendations from our hosts.Exploring Joshua Tree and other sightseeing was a short car ride away. We had such a fun stay!

Great time at this location. The outdoors area is sooo cute!! Hot tub is easy and ready to use. The fire pit was also easy to use as long as you had a lighter to start it. The inside was cozy and spacious. Yoga room also a very nice addition- just bring your own extra equipment if needed- the room provides a bunch of mats! Would recommend this place!!

This was my second stay at the property. It is such a wonderful location and Meghan was a gracious host! I cannot wait to go back again for our next weekend in Pioneertown.
